Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
50B EDC Training & Consulting LLC (“50B,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of the people who contact us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.50b.pro (the “Site”), through inquiries made on it, and when you enroll with us as a student or member; how we use and share it; and the choices you have.
Discretion is central to how we work. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers on the Site.
1.Information we collect
When you make an inquiry. Through the inquiry form we collect:
- your name, email address and telephone number;
- the programme you are interested in, and who referred you, if you tell us;
- whether you agree to be contacted on WhatsApp; and
- anything else you choose to include when you write to us.
We record each inquiry in our inquiry log together with the date received, a link for contacting you on WhatsApp, its status (for example, contacted or enrolled), follow-up dates and our notes about our conversations with you.
When you enroll as a student or member. To register you, prepare your training records and support your license application, we collect and keep in our student records:
- your full name, including middle name;
- your email address(es) and mobile telephone number;
- your home address, and the address shown on your identification if it is different;
- your date of birth and state of residency;
- details of your government-issued identification: type, issuing authority, number and expiration date;
- where applicable, details of your firearms license or permit, such as the license number, expiration date and status (for example, an NYPD carry license);
- an emergency contact name and telephone number;
- the courses, classes and programmes you have taken, the forms you have signed, your payment status and any booking made through a third-party booking service;
- certificates of completion issued to you; and
- our notes about your training, scheduling and communications with you.
Copies of identification and licenses. We require a copy of a valid government-issued photo identification from every student and, where applicable, a copy of each firearms license or permit you hold. We use these copies to verify your identity and eligibility for a course, to complete training certificates and records, and to meet range, insurance and licensing requirements. They are stored in restricted-access files and are not published or shared except as described in this Policy.
Signed documents. We keep the participant waivers, range applications and other forms you sign, including electronically signed copies. For a minor attending a family or youth activity, these documents are completed and signed by the parent or legal guardian, whose name we also record.
Communication preferences. If you ask us to stop emailing or messaging you, we keep a record of that request so that we can honour it.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, the Site’s hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and keeps it in server logs used for security and operation. The Site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It stores one setting in your browser for the current session only, so that the introduction does not replay on every page you visit. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
2.How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiry and arrange a conversation with the Founder;
- consider applications for membership;
- schedule, deliver and administer courses, sessions and events you sign up for;
- verify your identity, age and eligibility for a course or activity;
- prepare certificates and training records required for license applications and renewals;
- send you information about 50B programmes, if you have agreed to receive it;
- keep the Site, our systems and our training environment safe and secure; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3.How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business, and only with:
- Service providers who host or process information for us under confidentiality obligations, including our website host (Netlify), our email, document and records provider (Google Workspace), our electronic-signature and certificate services, class booking services, and, if you opt in, WhatsApp (Meta) for messages to you;
- Ranges and venues where your session takes place, limited to what they need to admit you and meet their own requirements, such as your name, a range application and, where a range requires it, your identification or license details;
- Licensing authorities, when you ask us to provide a training certificate or confirm completion of a course;
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality;
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when necessary to protect someone’s safety; and
- A successor in the event of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or give it to others for their own marketing.
4.WhatsApp and email messages
We will message you on WhatsApp only if you tick the WhatsApp box on the inquiry form. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and messages sent through it are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying “STOP” or writing to concierge@50b.pro. Marketing emails, if any, will include a way to unsubscribe.
5.How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to follow up on your interest, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact unless you become a student or member. Records of students and members, including training records, signed documents and copies of identification and licenses, are kept for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, insurance, licensing and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6.How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, consistent with New York’s data security law (the SHIELD Act). These include access limited to those who need it, account security on the systems we use, and encrypted connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
7.Children
The Site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 18. Information about a child attending a family event is provided by, and handled with the consent of, the child’s parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.
8.Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, subject to legal and record-keeping obligations; and
- stop sending you marketing or WhatsApp messages.
Residents of California and certain other states may have additional rights under their state privacy laws, and we will honour requests in accordance with those laws. To make a request, write to concierge@50b.pro. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, will respond within the time the law requires, and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. The Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because it does not track visitors across sites.
9.Visitors outside the United States
50B operates in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States under this Policy.
10.Links to other sites
The Site may link to sites operated by others. This Policy does not apply to them; please review their privacy policies.
11.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will give more prominent notice.
12.Contact
Questions or requests about privacy may be sent to concierge@50b.pro.
